It’s been a while I did a Top5Wednesday and I missed it. Sometimes I get pretty lazy and just let it slide. But not today. For today, top 5 Wednesday, here are five authors I would love to write like.
1. Sarah J Mass ( Throne of Glass series): When I first read I fell in love with how she uses words and wrote such a bad ass story. I would love to write like her.
2 Chiamanda Ngozi Adichie ( Purple Hibiscus):

My favourite African author, her writing is amazing. Sometimes I find it hard to read African literature and I’m African but with her books it just comes easy. Her story captures and provokes her readers and I would love to write like that.
3. Anna Todd (The After series): Growing up I thought a good novel had to be filled with big words. Some reads were pretty slow as I had to be checking every word in the dictionary so as to understand the storyline. It’s great for your vocabulary and all but honestly sometimes it can get pretty annoying.
She first wrote After on wattpad. She uses simple words, yes but it was a beautiful story and I loved it. I learnt simplicity can be beautiful.
4. Sophie Kinsella (The Shopaholic series): I love Sophie Kinsella writing. They are so full of humour and can make you laugh your heart out. She writes on your typical every day life and it’s so interesting and relatable.
5. Leigh Bardugo (Six of Crows & Shadow and Bone): If you’ve read the six of crows then you’ll know how much of a writer Leigh is. She writes beautiful and amazing stories and I admire her for that .
